Leave with an action plan.
Record the decision separately from the next action. Every action needs a responsible person and a date.
Local planning tool. Nothing is sent to Meibo, assigned to teammates or added to a calendar. Export the plan and transfer agreed actions to your team’s working system. Overdue uses this device’s local date and excludes actions marked Done.
Bring changes, not a recital.
Ask opportunity owners to update the important records before the review. Start with decisions that need the group: a stalled conversation, a changed buying timeline, a missing owner or a commitment the team cannot yet meet.
The starting agenda allocates 30 minutes across five sections. It is Meibo’s suggested format, not a universal benchmark. Change the prompts and minutes for your team. If the total exceeds the time available, narrow the scope or move a detailed discussion into a separate working session.
Use one shared definition of the pipeline you are reviewing. Mixing new business, renewals and delivery work without saying so can make the meeting feel busy while leaving the underlying decisions unclear.
Agree your stage definitionsSeparate the decision from the task.
A decision records what the team concluded and why. A next action describes what someone will do as a result. “Follow up” is difficult to verify; “Ask the buyer to confirm the scope and approval date” gives the owner a clear job.
Use the action rows while the discussion is still fresh. An action only counts as fully detailed when it has an opportunity, decision, next action, owner and valid due date. Marking a row Done does not fill in missing context.

Put the commitments where work happens.
Export the CSV to share the agenda and recorded actions. Copy the agreed tasks into the CRM or project system your team actually uses. Confirm that the responsible person has accepted the action; a name typed into this planning tool does not notify them.
Start the next review by closing the loop on those commitments. A blocked action may need a decision rather than another reminder. A completed action may lead to a new next step. Keep the previous plan as a reference instead of quietly overwriting the record of what was agreed.
Build a repeatable follow-up processA working copy you control.
The tool saves one plan in this browser on this website. It does not create a Meibo workspace, synchronise with colleagues or send reminders. Clearing browser storage removes the saved plan. Use Save backup to download a JSON file you can restore here later.
CSV is the readable export for spreadsheet software; JSON is the restorable backup. Restore validates the file before asking to replace your current plan. Export each completed review before using Reset to start another. Browser saving may be unavailable in restricted or private browsing environments.
Overdue means an open or blocked action has a due date earlier than this device’s local date. It is separate from the meeting date and from the check for missing action details. Review those labels alongside the actual context.
Questions before the review.
How long should a pipeline review take?+
Use the time needed for the decisions in scope. This template starts at 30 minutes and shows when your planned sections exceed the available time. Reduce the scope rather than rushing every deal through a fixed slot.
Should we discuss every opportunity?+
Not necessarily. Prepare the records first and prioritise changes, risks and decisions that need the group. Use a separate discussion for a complex deal if it would consume the whole review.
Does this create tasks in Meibo?+
No. It is a standalone planning tool. Export the agreed actions and transfer them to your CRM, with real assignments and notifications handled there.
Can I reopen a previous review?+
Yes, if you saved its JSON backup. Use Restore backup, choose the file and confirm replacement. CSV exports are for reading and sharing; they cannot be restored into this tool.
Can my team edit the same plan together?+
The saved plan belongs to this browser, not a shared workspace. You can facilitate a review using one screen and share an export afterwards. Separate browsers do not synchronise their changes.
This is Meibo’s original meeting framework. The example is fictional; the tool does not validate commercial decisions or forecast revenue. Read our editorial policy.
