Build your quoteEvery line has a reason.
- A defined deliverable and a base fee.
- Each permission priced on its own.
- Exact months, not “ongoing”.
- Commission agreed with the talent.

Deliverables
The creative fee for making and posting the content on the talent’s own channels.
Usage, ads and exclusivity
Each line is the base fee × the monthly rate × the number of months. Switch off anything the brand isn’t buying.
Agency commission
Internal only. The brand-facing summary leaves this out.
Separate the work from the permissions.
The base fee pays for making and posting the content on the talent’s own channels. Everything the brand does with the content afterwards, and anything the talent agrees not to do, is a separate line.
Permission = base fee × monthly rate × monthsIf the brand wants a longer term or paid media, the quote changes visibly. If the budget is fixed, the brand can shorten the term or drop a permission rather than asking the talent to cut the creative fee.
Scope usage rights before you price themCheck the terms behind the numbers.
Confirm the talent is free: no confirmed exclusivity in the brand’s category and no clash with existing bookings. Write the usage term as dates, and match any platform authorisation, such as a TikTok Spark Ads code, to that term.
Agree commission, payment timing and expenses with the talent in writing before the first quote goes out, and confirm whether VAT applies. All amounts in this tool exclude VAT.

Are the example rates market rates?+
No. They are fictional assumptions that show the structure. We found no reliable public benchmark for UK creator rates, so set your own from the quotes brands have accepted.
Why price usage as a percentage of the base fee?+
It is a common structure that is easy to explain, compare and renew. You can use it as is, or treat each line as a fixed fee by adjusting the rate until the amount matches what you want to charge.
Is commission calculated on the whole fee?+
In this tool, yes: commission is a percentage of the gross fee, including usage and exclusivity. Use whatever basis the talent has agreed in writing, and adjust the figure if your agreement is different.
Does the brand summary include our commission?+
No. Copy for the brand includes the deliverables, each permission and the total fee excluding VAT. The CSV export includes the commission split and the talent fee for your own records.
Where is my quote saved?+
In this browser on this website. The tool does not create a Meibo account or send the quote anywhere. Clearing browser storage removes it, so export a CSV for anything you want to keep.
Does this handle VAT?+
No. All amounts exclude VAT. Confirm the VAT status of the talent and the agency, and add VAT on the invoice where it applies.
This is Meibo’s original pricing framework. The example rates are fictional; the tool does not provide legal, tax or financial advice. Read our editorial policy.
